Knaith Road employs a team of qualified and dedicated early childhood educators. All educators work together as an effective team to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment.
A Director and Assistant Director manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre.
Each room employs an educator with a minimum qualification of Diploma of Children’s Services (Level 4) and an educator with a Certificate Three in Children’s Services (Level 3).
Our registered Four Year Old Kindergarten Program is run by a qualified teacher with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
We also employ an Educational Leader;
The role of the educational leader is primarily to:
- collaborate with educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance
- support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices
- lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service
- ensure children’s learning and development are guided by the learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or the Framework for School Age Care or other approved learning frameworks.
All educators and support staff have Working with Children Checks and qualifications in first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, asthma and child protection.
Our educators are supported to undertake ongoing professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge, whether this is with allocated planning time, in-house services or external courses.
We also utilise our own regular team of relief educators when necessary. This ensures a high level of consistency in our care at all times.
